Materials Needed for Proper Assembly:

> Computer
> Printer
> CD Burning Software
> Image Editing Software
> 2 Pieces of Paper (8.5" x 11")
> 1 Printable Adhesive CD Label Sheet (Full Face)
> Optional: CD Label Software or Template
> Optional: CD Label Applicator Device
> Scissors OR Paper Cutter
> 4 pieces of Clear Scotch Tape
> Optional: Clear Drying Glue Stick
> 1 white CD sleeve with circular transparent window
> Optional: Black Sharpie Marker

1. Open tracks in the burning software of your choice and burn them in the correct numbered order onto a blank CD-R. Set the disc aside when finished burning. If your burning software gives you the option to input the CD's title and artist name, input the following:

Artist Name: Kids Get Hit by Buses
CD Title: dance_dance_dance

Also, if your burning software gives you the option to burn the disc with no pauses between tracks, select that option for best results.

2. Use the image editing software of your choice to print out "DDD - Insert.png" onto an 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper (letter size). Make sure the program you are using prints the file at its exact size (100%).

Recommended image software for printing: Adobe Photoshop

3. You will know the image printed correctly if the measured print is approximately 4.624" x 4.624". When you have verified that the image printed correctly, use scissors or a paper cutter to carefully cut along the outside edge. Set the print aside.

5. Open "DDD - Track List.png" in your image editing software. Print the image out at its exact size (100%) onto a sheet of paper.

6. You will know the image printed correctly if the measured print is approximately 3.5" x 1.5". When you have verified that the Track List image printed correctly, use scissors or a paper cutter to carefully cut it out. There is no guideline to follow with your cut, so just leave a little bit of white space around the edges using your best judgement. Set the cut out track list aside.

8. Now you have to make a choice. The dance_dance_dance single features two different CD label options, the "Head" label or the "Penis" label. After deciding which label you want on your CD, open "DDD - CD Label 1.png" or "DDD - CD Label 2.png" in either your image editing software, your CD label software, or other program using the desired CD label template. This step will be different for everyone, depending on what labels and what software/templates you are using. Orient the image so that it can correctly print on your sheet of adhesive CD labels. Use the gray circle around the image as a guide. When the image is properly aligned with the edges of your label, print it out onto your adhesive CD label sheet.

Recommended CD label software: Meritline EZ Label Xpress (free)

9. You will know your CD label printed correctly if the image covers the full face of the label with the soft gray guideline just barely past the label's edges all the way around. Once you have verified that your label printed correctly, carefully peel it off the adhesive sheet. If you have one, use some kind of CD label applicator device to firmly press the label's adhesive side down onto the top of the CD-R you burned in Step 1. If you do not have a label applicator, carefully use your hand to align and press the label firmly into position onto the CD-R. Make sure the label does not hang over any edges, and that there are no wrinkles or bubbles. If properly made with a full face label, the image should cover the entire plastic face of the CD, leaving only the small hole in the middle open.

10. Place the labeled CD-R into the white CD sleeve with the CD label facing toward the side with the window.

11. Take the printed artwork from Step 3 and insert it into the white CD sleeve in front of the CD so that the image shows through the circular transparent window.

12. Fold the flap of the CD sleeve into the sleeve to close it.

13. Grab the cut out track list from Step 6 and center it on the back side of the white CD sleeve. Carefully apply a piece of clear scotch tape to all four edges of the Track List so that it is firmly held in place against the paper sleeve. As an alternative to tape, you may also consider using a clear drying glue stick to apply the Track List. The use of glue however is not recommended because it tends to wrinkle the paper when it dries.

Congratulations! You now have a hard copy of dance_dance_dance!
